I'm lifting a martini glass in the air today and not just because the weekend is well on it's way but because it's National Martini Day and I can't think of a better reason to celebrate! James Bond might have been a big fan of the classic dry Martini but unfortunately, it has a habit of leaving my face with a bit of a grimace so I opt for something a little sweeter, a colourful combination with a hint of fruit and a whole lot of bubbly. So this weekend, take out your fanciest Martini glasses (or go rogue and use a whimsical liqueur glass like they did at The Weslodge Saloon in downtown Toronto where I happened upon this drink in the first place) and do it the 'French' way!
